Khaled Ghorbal was born in 1950 in Tunisia. He's a director and an actor in the theater, a scriptwriter and a director in the cinema. He made his theatrical studies at different places: At the "Centre d'art dramatique" in Tunis, at the "Univeristé internationale du théâtre" in Paris, the "Université Paris VIII" and finally at the "Ecole de mime Jacques Lecoq Mouvement Théâtre".
