«Deeply moving. – What ultimately makes A Bit of Light so emotionally forceful is its dramatic verisimilitude.» Variety

«A fluently crafted story. – The soul-deep weariness and struggle for hope that it evokes will resonate with many audiences.» The Hollywood Reporter

«A finely focused, mature, and moving drama with a quietly perfect ending that repays the title.» IndieWire

«A timely picture and potent response to a government atrocity.» Screen International

«Another remarkable example of how Iranian cinema holds a mirror to an ever-changing society in a way everyone can understand.» The Film Verdict
