Alberto Arvelo was born in 1966 in Caracas and works as a scriptwriter and director. He set up a drama grup, wrote for the theatre and composed music for the cinema and the television. His last movie «Una Vida y dos mandados» was nominated for the oscar in 1997 for the best foreign film. He also wrote and realised several episodes of the series «Los Ultimos» for the Venezuelan television and received many prices for his scripts.
