Eliane Caffé began her career as a filmmaker with three award-winning shorts. Then, she wrote and directed five feature films: Para onde Voam as Feiticeiras (2020), Era o Hotel Cambridge (2016), O Sol do Meio Dia (2009), Narradores de Javé (2002) and Kenoma (1998) that participated in national and international film festivals receiving several awards. She is known for being an auteur filmmaker, always looking for an innovative language in her narratives.
